Anyone have info if we will have a velvet season this year? Think today is when it gets voted on.

Unless they change from their current proposal, the state will have a velvet season. The proposal becomes final 30 days after the April 27 submit date unless modified.

Yep. The Legislature is **** bent to march down the slippery slope of "expanded opportunity."

While I will enjoy a velvet season I’d really like for them to push the season opener back about 15-20 days and extend it into February. Last few years it hasn’t gotten cold till February.
