Not much to report, but figured I'd share anyway. Kayak fished down HWY 1 in LA this Saturday. We were lucky enough to not get rained on, but the wind was absolutely howling all day. I spent most of the day trying to hide from the wind up next to the grass. Our first, and usually good spot, wasn't working out. It was really dirty and loaded with grass, so we loaded back up around 10am and headed further south. We found some cleaner water and we each picked up 1 slot red. Other than that, we caught quite a few rat reds, a couple small trout and a few catfish. Tough day of fishing, but as always it beats not fishing at all.
