+1. We are finally making improvements on the size of our bucks that are being harvested and now they want to change it. Just doesn't make much sense to me.

youth week is the best time for kids to kill a good deer before all the hunting pressure turns them nocturnal and pushes them into the hard to get to areas! I support youth week 100% but I just think the seasons should stay the way they are now!

I say they should open up a spot light season for kids. It'll make it much easier on them. Just aim between the two shiny eyes. Just make sure the youth season is during archery season.

There is absolutely no reason for this, why put the guns in the woods before the bows get in there, I totally agree with them being in the woods before the pups are turned loose but enough is enough!!!!
Guys, all this crap is gonna come up again the first of the year and if the sportsman of this state dont come together everyone could very well be in the woods with a gun Oct 1 2011.

All the sportsman in this country could come together and it wouldnt matter what happens in this state. I have given up. You cant mix politics and wildlife management period. Too bad we are headed down the same road as South Carolina. Just be glad we still have sortof a juvenile season. Everything MDWFP has accomplished so far has been just by luck, but luck runs out eventually.
