Little different for me in central MS. I thought due to the freeze acorns would be slim, but I’m seeing a decent amount of white oaks. None dropping yet that I can see.

 

Seems pretty decent here in east Ms.

 

Tiny acorns on red oaks, most not dropping yet

 

Central ms is awful. The pin oaks usually loaded every year are dropping just a few very small acorns and some aren’t even any good. Zero white oaks I can see.

 

We had rain through the middle of August in NE MS. The acorn crop is better than I have seen it in years. These boys feeding corn can’t even get the deer to participate.

 

Pretty good in far northeast MS. A lot of red oaks are already dropping and the white oaks are starting. Anything is better than last year, in which there was nearly a complete acorn crop failure.

 

Very few here. Didn’t see any on the cow oaks when I looked last week but they had a bumper crop last year so that was expected. Very little water oak acorns and a few red oak but they are tiny.

 

Various oaks around parking lots down here are loaded. I'm thinking about putting a broom and shovel in the truck and sweep them up!

very poor. The acorns that are dropping are in the bottoms where the trees were more protected from the drought and to some degree the late spring frost.
